Preinsa finished the implementation process for the AS9100D, a widely adopted standard for a quality management system required by the aerospace industry with the support of the Aerospace Cluster of Costa Rica. Audit process will be scheduled for Q2-2020.

Preinsa certified its quality management system ISO-9001:2008 in September 2015.

Now, ISO 9001:2015 is being implemented and a certification audit will be performed the first half of 2018.

Preinsa acquires a new Okuma L300-MY lathe with live tools capacity. This new equipment will be ready for production by mid May 2017, strengthening PREINSA turning capacity for parts that also require
the integration of milling and drilling operations.
